St. Charles Country Club is a full-service golf facility with a friendly and professional golf staff offering expert instruction. The facility includes men’s and women’s locker rooms, a large, full-swing driving range, expansive putting greens and pitching areas and, since 2005, the unique and challenging Quarry Course. Additionally, the Club boasts a thriving caddie program.
The rich history of the St. Charles Country Club dates to 1924, when the 200-acre Pollard farm was purchased by Dellora and Lester J. Norris for the purpose of constructing a golf course. Architects George Elmslie and the world-renowned Tom Bendelow were selected to design the SCCC clubhouse and golf course, respectively. With the course and clubhouse finally complete in 1926, SCCC officially opened its gates, welcoming the founding members to one of the finest clubs in the Midwest.
